I love the freedom of play. It is unscripted and spontaneous, and a joy to observe children find wonder in their every day lives.

A collection of my favorite film photos. I shoot with a variety of old film cameras. The easiest and most reliable is the Canon Eos - 1V. It is my go to when I want to nail the shots. Over the last 10 years I have collected a Canon FTb, Zeiss Ikon Contaflex, Canon Retinette, Olympus OM 1, Lubitel, Flexarette, Holga, and a few more. I love to play with these to see what I get using different film stocks.

Still life of fruit, veg, leaves, flowers, objects that are personal or objects found. I enjoy creating using what I have on hand. Using the available sunlight through my windows gives me a variety of light and helps me to create a painterly effect in camera. I like to keep my arrangements simple and contextual to my life.

Emery is an ongoing portrait project. Although I have photographed her since birth, our project began at the end of her 9th year August 2020, and continues until she is 18 years old. Some of the portraits are planned in advance, and others were taken in moments that we at the same place at the same time, because our lives intersect.

The intention of this long term project is to document Emery as she comes of age.

I love water in portraits! I started taking under water portraits in the summer of 2023. It is so much fun for everyone! I am just getting started and ca’t wait to continue my obsession with all kinds of water photography.

I want to photograph adult women of all ages that have experienced a significant health crisis like breast cancer, stroke, or other major health event that was intensely traumatic. I am interested in working with women at all stages in their recovery. I want to explore the full spectrum of emotions and how they see themselves, and feel about their body and intimacy after going through something so life changing.

My nude self portraits will be included in this project. I am a stroke survivor.

I use iPhone and professional camera’s.
